Beth is an HR leader and strategic partner who received her undergraduate degree in Marketing and Latin American Studies from Michigan State University. Before graduating from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management with an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior, Beth started her career at Avon Products as Supervisor of Packaging and Quality.

It didn’t take long for Beth to realize her passion was HR. She moved to Eli Lilly and Company as an HR associate handling a variety of HR roles. Beth’s talents were recognized as she was promoted to Compensation Director to lead a team of global compensation and benefits professionals. Lilly continued to recognize Beth’s strengths and moved her to US Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing where she managed a geographically dispersed team supporting sales, regional management and marketing. Beth proved her capabilities in employee relations and workforce planning and transitioned to Director of HR for Global Medical and Toxicology for Lilly Research Laboratories.

Over the next fifteen years as a Senior HR Director in Eli Lilly’s Lilly Research Labs, Beth‘s HR teams supported thousands of employees in multiple US sites and global affiliates. Beth led her HR teams to consistently deliver results. From recruiting and staffing, succession planning, employee relations, leadership coaching, and workforce planning, Beth directed her team’s successful efforts.

Lilly recognized Beth’s success and advanced her to Director of HR for Lilly Research Laboratories for Europe. Located in Surrey, England, she oversaw sites in England, Belgium, Germany, Spain as well as clinical research in other affiliates. Coordinating with European research leaders, Beth worked to define and implement integrated research strategies.

Working with global affiliates was just a stepping stone to becoming the HR Director of Global Clinical Research, Product Development and Global Regulatory. In this highly complex role, Beth was charged with representing HR in significant global cross functional projects including site closures and strategic partnerships. The results in every project reflected positive business outcomes while supporting and creating opportunities for employees.

Beth’s particular expertise of creating positive environments while working with highly technical personnel was recognized throughout her time as an HR leader in Lilly Research Labs. While there, she led various initiatives, including the redesign and communication of the well-respected and recognized Technical Ladder.

Beth’s ability to coach line and staff personnel though difficult transitions lead her to post-Lilly engagements with a variety of local and regional organizations. Her vast experience with leadership coaching, workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design and effectiveness have made her a treasured resource.

Today, Beth works with The Strategy Forums to coach executives, inspire teams, and bring unprecedented clarity to organizations. In addition, she dedicates time to Ovar’coming Together to provide ovarian cancer awareness, education, and survivor support.

Beth and her husband, Dan, raised their three children as global citizens. Today, she and Dan reside in Carmel, IN and look for every opportunity to spend time with their grandchildren.
